ABOUT US
Although we are based in Oklahoma, we can service clients in Minnesota in cities like Bloomington, the state's 4th largest city with a population of 89,987. Bloomington is in Hennepin County and sits on the Minnesota River's north bank with the Mississippi River to the south.
Bloomington has the state's highest employment, the Mall of America providing many retail jobs. Larger companies have headquarters here, including Ceridian, Donaldson Company, HealthPartners, and Toro. Significant operations like General Dynamics, Pearson, Express Scripts, and Seagate Technologies employ many residents in and around Bloomington.
Bloomington sits on 38.42 square miles, including 3.74 square miles of water. The city has three primary land types: a sand plain in the northeastern part, a western area with low hills dominating, and the south in the Minnesota River valley. Between May and September, the weather is warm, with highs in the 70s, with July being the hottest month. Winter weather is between November and March, with January the coldest month, averaging daily highs in the 20s and lows in the 10s.
Method Group was founded with the idea we could reimagine what an Architecture firm looks like. With a focus on collaborative coordination and an emphasis on the value of human capital - we're here for a better, kinder, more equitable approach.
As part of our digital-first focus, we utilize technology such as Matterport photo and laser-scanning to get accurate records of existing buildings and create a virtual way to access buildings and sites throughout a project. We also rely on cloud-based software and remote-capable hardware for all of our core functions. This allows us to be flexible and our team to work efficiently in a remote way - keeping us connected to projects, clients, and each other. Ultimately, this means our team's high level of responsiveness and engagement.
